'No computer Sunday'; 'technology fast'!? That sounds awesome! *cross.eyed* Setting time for myself sounds great but I tend to procrastinate a little. That's only due to my mom wanting me over a lot. She even says, what do I do home (she doesn't know there's a lot I can be doing). It's tough; with tension and stress... well it doesn't really help the pain. I do have 3 things pending to publish soon, so that's a big plus!! I like what you said, "Unless you share your goals... it'll never happen... it's then just a wish." True! I could elaborate—but I don't want to sound dismal. Sounds like a great blog post though (soon)...and a cheerful one! Honestly!ツ
I do not want to take cymbalta, even though it helps (like the commercial states).

Tommy - so have you watched AreWeThereYet? I did watch it last week and I thought it was pretty funny, the little boy reminds me so much of Jordan. (score) Although I've only watched those two episodes I am liking it so far.

Love you both, but it's Nook all the way for me. Agreed on the single-purpose, but that's why I have it. Also OK with having to use a clip-on light. Much easier on the eyes than a built in backlight.

Ellen Degeneres also had 2 people drive...[not sure exactly where they started though]. They had a stop
in Wisconsin where it was filmed for her show, but from there due to the freezing weather conditions...Ellen flew them in to her show for a game competing for Super Bowl tickets [she does this type of stuff a lot on her show (competitions)]. She's rooting for the GB Packers. Go Pack Go! \☺/ She's great; she also follows back.
What does Ashlee's husband (Pete Wentz) have to do with #MBteamS? I follow them both. ツ

Listening is definitely important. Whether it is in a collaborate environment where multiple egos are fighting for the stage, whether it is to your customers, or whether it is just to the general "landscape" considering as many different possible perspectives as possible.

Making sure that someone else is heard is fairly important to validate what is important to them, but probably in most instances to better understand ourselves and the relationships we are in.

It was a good video, thanks for sharing.

I actually have the Nook, and don't have the iPad, but when deciding what to buy for reading, at first I was torn. Of course the iPad is much more expensive with more features, but for this I specifically wanted a tool for reading, not for all the other things that would be nice to have with iPad. I feared the iPad wouldn't work very well when lying in bed reading or lounging around, and I'm glad to hear that your reviews are in favor for Kindle! Granted I don't have the Kindle, but it's the same concept. I do, however, wonder if I should have bought the Kindle vs. the Nook instead, not sure if there is much of a difference, but would like to know reviews between those two! Thanks for the insight.

Showing your voice and side of things..is a easy way for people to fall in love with you and the product at the same time. Thx for your video! (I follow u on Twitter) I'm just getting hooked into this whole social media phase and learning the benefits of being on top blogging-consistently. I sold my previous business and went full time into my current business this year. So one of the top reasons is to get my biz exposed to the outside world! I started blogging to track the journey of our business and I used email marketing to showcase our products. I'm beginning to see that maybe blogging would be better to showcase our featured product of the month, etc. What are your thoughts on this?

I don't have a Kindle, but I understand the reason why Lisa prefers the Kindle for reading.
Me, personally, I'll get an iPad. For reading, I like to stick to actual books.

That was awesome you gave a shout-out to Sherri for doing a great job. From a customer service rep. view, it’s nice to hear every once in awhile… because at times it can be difficult and it is a thankless job when dealing with irate customers.
Giving props rocks!
In customer service, you don’t only have to be knowledgeable but helping trifold, being courteous, and going the extra mile helps a lot!!

I believe the world will always be in a technology evolution/revolution stage.

History has shown that print evolved to radio to television to Internet to Portable Internet. The need for customer instant gratification has forced the static sites to be replaced by dynamic ones.

So, I believe Six Apart, WordPress and Blogger will lead the way to dynamic Web Sites. And, in time, these means of communication will evolve into something more portable for voice to text and text to voice that may be implanted. (Who Knows?)

Until this happens, I believe users and customers should use the means of communication that is most comfortable for them.
